Nancy Witty to Retire as ISSCR CEO

Skokie, IL— The International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) announced today that Nancy Witty will retire as Chief Executive Officer effective 30 June 2021. Keith Alm, current ISSCR Chief Operating Officer will succeed her.

Amander Clark, PhD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology, UCLA, USA will become the next vice president of the ISSCR. Fiona Doetsch, PhD, Professor of Molecular Stem Cell Biology at the Biozentrum at the University of Basel, Switzerland was elected Clerk.
